The finance department provides budgetary resources, council and support to all Centers and Departments of HSGD. All agency finance policies and procedures are determined by the guidelines of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and by directives of a variety of grants and foundations that provide funding to our agency.
Although Payroll has its own web page, it is part of the Finance Department.
All forms are available through HSEIS
I. Early Check Release -
"Early Check Release" was developed to assist and employee as a convenience if not working one the next scheduled pay date or in an emergency situation. We have found that requests for ealy check release have increased over the last several months. Many of these requests do not meet the agency's specific reasons reflected on the form nor is adequate documentation provided to support the request. Below are the established reasons for early check release:
1. Vacation or personal
leave - You will be on leave on the pay date.
2. Attending Agency
Event(s) - You will be away from the office on agency business.
3. Jury Duty - Jury
summons must be furnished.
4. Death or Serious
Illness - "Immediate Family Crisis" requiring verification expenses and
and
proof must be furnished.
We are adding an Other category for any situation that does not meet one of the above. You will need to provide enough detail to assist management in making a determination regarding the approval of your request.
